SENIOR FIRMWARE & COMPUTER VISION ENGINEER

Lucid VR in Santa Clara, CA seeks qualified Senior Firmware & Computer Vision Engineer. Responsible for leading design & deployment of 3D algorithms & models to enable AI-based computer vision across the company’s software suite.

Position requires at least a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Comp Engineering, or closely related field of study with a background or coursework in: (i) configuring hardware electronics, including SOC (system on chip); (ii) computer vision & graphics models; (iii) computer vision & graphics software libraries, such as OpenCV; (iv) writing & developing basic software utilizing C & C++ for controlling hardware; (v) working with firmware & software engineers on configuring operating system (OS); (vi) prototyping software in C++ & writing & managing code; (vii) algorithms & techniques for image & video processing & matching methods to specific problem requirements; & (viii) using Linux API. 40 hrs/wk.
